Toliet Paper Woes...

To my darling husband....

The next time you leave me with only this much toliet paper on the roll, while no one is home for me to call, "Honey, Can You Toss me a roll of tp?" I will hide all the toliet paper in a secret place and you will be forced to fend for yourself.

Little Girls Should Dress Like Little Girls

Since fall is just around the corner, its time to not only refresh my closet but my darling daughters as well. How they grow so fast, I realized nothing fit her and off shopping we go with Daddy's gleaming credit card in our hand. My adorable mini me loves shopping just as much as her mommy. Oh my poor (so to be broke) husband.

With my mom (yes thats three generations of shop-a-holics), we were appaled by what some of these stores had to offer! Little girls should dress like little girls! Innocence is so precious, why are we wisking it away but not allowing them to be children in their clothes. I looked at my daughter who was wearing a green tutu, L.L. Bean pink rainboots, big bow in her hair, and a hot pink t-shirt complete with a puppy and rinestones,, and topping it off the ketchup we missed at lunch from her McDonalds french fries...This is how a little girl should look.

She just happend to walk over a grate...She thought this was
so funny!

I went home and did my research and found a great site for childrens clothes! Check out the Olivia Bloom Project!

A wonderful site with adorable childrens clothing, impecabbly made, with the intent of allowing children to not feel confined in their clothing and express their own creative joy!

Don't forget to LIKE them on Facebook too they always have great deals!

Rock of Ages - U Street - Must Check Out

This weekend I finally got an afternoon to myself with no toddler, no husband, no responsibilities, nothing (BIG thanks to my parents!).

I decided to check out a couple vintage stores in the Adams Morgan, U Street Corridor area that I had been dying to check out but never can get around to. So after an amazing brunch at my Husbands restaurant, Floriana, I headed uptown and stumbled upon Rock it Again.

I believe this store used to be the over priced womens clothing store Nana? Any way I have to say I was very very pleased with the selection of Vintage they had to offer in both men's and women's clothing. Tons of bow ties, shoes, jackets, caridgans, and adorable vintage inspired dresses all for pretty affordable prices.

I even found a pair of YSL shoes with a kitten heel for, well dirt cheap, that I fell in love with. I didn't purchase them but am determined to go back later this week.

One Week till Missoni

Only one more week till the luxury brand Missoni graces us with their presences at Target.

So even though next Tuesday is my husband's birthday....I will be at Target scooping something up.

New Direction - Yet same blog

Okay Okay, I've basically taken the entire summer off to focus on my family and well frankly myself, but mostly family.

After the last summer I found out several things...as much as I DO looove fashion, I can't focus my whole life on it. I need an outlet to tell about the hilarious things that happen in my life, the stress of finding  myself, the constant struggle of being a young mom and staying young but still remembering I'm a mom, and getting slowly back in the work force. I will still write about fashion, a lot actually, but with my shopping budget being hacked by my husband, my posts will vary to all the different hats I wear.
