Last night one of my best friend and I took a girls night-out to the Jete Society's Beer & Ballet at the Washington Ballet's dance studio. Such a fun night of champagne, girl talk, and watching the company practice for an upcoming performance.

I have to carry a big bag....as a working mother I go from meeting to potty-training my two year old in a matter of moments. My big bags filled with diapers, wipes, sippy cup, chanel lipstick, wallet, cell phone, and sometimes even flats or heels - If your looking for it - its in my bag.

Big Hats, Horses, and lots of Mimosas - VA Gold Cup Weekend

Anyone who's anyone in DC knows tomorrow is GOLD CUP! With beautiful horses, old money, unlimited flowing Mimosas and of course the hats, the Gold Cup is DC's way of coming out ready for Spring.

Must haves for Gold Cup? Obviously a hat that stands out, comfortable shoes (you will be standing in grass most of the day and unless you bring chairs they aren't just laying around), and of course your a beautiful spring dress in a bold color. Try a silhouette that's not too tight. Again think fashion and comfort together. Plus flowy dresses are in!

We have gathered used clothing within 2 years of used, but great condition to be sold as consignment pieces. Just $15 will get you 3 items (just $5 each!) and a majority of $ will support a Style organization, FashionEastA, which directly goes to an orphanage in East Africa to provide aid for children's schooling, etc.  Gift bags will be given to each guests full of coupons and other fun items! Also, will be raffeling off an Ipod nano and a $50 gift certificate to Current Boutique!
